Two of An Xiao’s photos now grace the cover of Boxcar Poetry Review’s March 2008 issue. Selected for inclusion were works from her recent nighttime series, including Drive Thru (2007) and Just Me (2008), where she explores issues of impermanence and solitude in the dark moments of the city.

Review in Empty Easel

An Xiao’s photography has been reviewed by Dan at Empty Easel, a popular web site for artists and art lovers to learn about the business of art and also to learn from each others’ work. This is a great honor for her, due both to Empty Easel’s selectivity and the fact that this is the first-ever review of her photography.
